This notice explains how ASG NETX LTD uses the information you give us through asg-netx.com, mainly through the contact form. In short: we use it to reply to you, and only send you updates if you ask us to.
Who we are
ASG NETX LTD (“ASG-NetX”, “we”), 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom, is the data controller for information collected through this website. For any privacy question or request, email paul@asg-netx.com.
What we collect
- What you enter in the contact form: your name, organisation, work email, the topic you’re interested in and your message.
- Your marketing preference: whether you ticked the box to receive updates.
- Technical information: the IP address the form was sent from, used to block spam and abuse.
The website itself does not set cookies or use analytics tracking. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers when the page loads.
How we use it, and why
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss the services you asked about. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and on taking steps you have asked for before any contract.
- To send you news and insights about ASG-NetX and Cameyo, only if you ticked the updates box. This is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying “unsubscribe” or emailing us.
- To protect the website from spam and misuse (legitimate interest).
We do not sell your information and do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who sees it
Your enquiry is emailed to the ASG-NetX principals, who work across our partner companies ASG Africa (South Africa) and NetX Information Systems (United States). This means your information may be handled outside the UK. Where it is, we take steps to make sure it is protected to the standard UK law requires. Our website is hosted by Fasthosts in the UK, and a copy of each enquiry is kept securely on that hosting.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case normal business record rules apply. If you opted in to updates, we keep your details for that purpose until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another organisation. Email paul@asg-netx.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
